ALDI Weston reviews
35I don't normally shop at ALDI, but checked the store on a whim. Ended up spending $65 with some regular brands and others to try out. Prices were good and the store was clean and bright. Time will tell but looks good so far.
One of Aldi's largest newest stores in Canberra. Ease of access. Within shopping centre. Close to toilet & other stores
What you’d expect from an Aldi.
The layout is ridiculous, it’s so narrow in places, if one person stops to search or browse for a product the whole aisle comes to a stand still.
Note my regular chain, but I've been a few times over the last couple of months and I'm finding more and more to like.
The fruit and veg looks like decent quality and freshness. Dairy/freezer sections are nicely laid out and organised.
I like the variety in their brands but the real winner for me are the special buys.
I've gad some awesome finds that I wasn't looking for but it was tempting enough price wise to take a gamble.
Stores are always clean and they were faitlrly responsive to opening extra checkouts when the lines got a bit long.
They don't have a good range for me. The fresh food range is limited and most is aimed at family size and not really for singles and people on special food needs but they are definitely cheaper than the other supermarkets
Quality food with extra bargains. Changes every time with no guarantee of finding what you bought last time.
It's a very good experience shopping at this Aldi and you could actually save some money. They don't stock the Aloe Vera drink anymore, that's the only negative.
Normally very happy with the service at Weston ACT But today I was not so happy by the way I was spoken too by the staff. I was enquiring about a product in this week catalogue for Wednesday 8th Dec and abruptly told that the item was for Saturday unfortunately I did not have the catalogue with me but returned home to find that I was correct the item being on sale today. Staff need to check before treating customs like idiots this US the reason for low star rating
If I could give them minus five stars, I would.
I never expected great customer service from this lot. But, the bottom line is that they should never attempt to cheat customers by short-changing them deliberately.
Receipts provided by aldi never show the amount paid or returned but the costs. Had my arithmetic been poor, I wouldn't even know how much a cashier owes me when shopping there and how many times they've failed to rip me off in this manner.
This morning, the scumbag of a cashier at aldi short-changed my mum $10 after she paid her groceries by cash. My mum tried to explain this to him by producing her receipt and the change she received. However, this scumbag pretended that he didn't understand one word she was saying and refused to take any action. My mum asked him to check the security camera to ascertain the amount of money she paid and received but to no avail. Despite the scumbag's overbearing and aggressive demeanor, my mum remained calm and polite. Eventually, she had to lay the change at the counter, hoping that he would count it. He didn't even set his eyes on the change and a few minutes later returned my mum the $10 that belonged to her. This seems to me that he knew it all along and just wanted to try his luck on a vulnerable elderly lady.aldi, as I said before, I never expected great customer service from your lot. However, if you do wish to be closer to what you claim yourself to be, including 'most satisfied shoppers' (or should I say 'the most satisfied cashiers', 'the most enabling managers' or 'the sneakiest pickpockets'?), I would recommend you to include the amount of cash paid and that of the change on every receipt provided for customers.
It's Aldi. It's an average sized Aldi that's located the top level of Cooleman Court shopping centre. This store is usually is well stocked though with only one Aldi store in the Weston creek area, you may find the aisles busy with people and their trolleys.
Parking at Cooleman Court is sufficient though you may struggle to din a park during busy periods. There are usually plenty of parking on the opposite side of Brierly street.
I would like to thank the staff and manager who helped me recently with a product (all the time being interrupted by an elderly alcoholic), Even though they were very busy everyone was served correctly and professionally,
Don't appreciate having male shoppers being put to the front of the queue without being asked. Of course being a woman I couldn't possibly have anywhere important to be.
Nice, clean shop. Easy to access. Staff are generally friendly. Smaller shop so doesn't always have sale items or gets sold out really quickly.
We save like $50-100 vs Woolies every time we shop. Quality of food is excellent. While I really dislike the checkout experience and general store layout, the product quality and prices are well worth it. Convenient location too.
I will just say a few words
I don't like Aldi or it's poor quality.
If you want good quality visit Lake fresh in in Taylors Lake or Lamanna supermarket in Essendon fields.
. Well it depends - the one in Coolamon Court is chaotic at best.and shelves in fresh (including meat) poorly stocked.got less than a third of what I intended
Very good products for an excellent price. Compared to Woolworth and Coles, forget the other rip off merchants, the prices are often half as high for fresh products and at least some Dollars cheaper. At Aldi one gets great products for an excellent price. Well done, Aldi!
Weston Aldi- Great place & easier access due to catching buses compared to Tuggeranong venue! But needs air conditioning! Too smaller place when lot of people & lined up at registers.
Very easy to shop at Aldi Weston Creek, aisles are a very good size and shelves always full, drawback today no large sausages available. Staff are always courtiest and are up to date with all items being sold. My association goes back many years when I served in Australian Embassies We in and Bonn.
Great place a bit hard to find items Since the Renovations vegetable at front, but will have to get used to it
