Amazingly grateful for the smooth transition of our one piece lounge that was longer than what our apartment’s fire stairs and elevator was ergonomically designed for. However, Jhesu found a way to get it in our little space by taking off the legs of the lounge, clearly is his expertise. Made us very happy because I love this lounge that we’ve just purchased!

Amazing service provided in a stressful situation! They took care of all our beloved items. Barry and Daniel worked very hard on a hot day and the office staff were a pleause to deal with from beginning to end. They even recommend us with Storage King in Belconnen so we can get a last minute unit.
Their prices are reasonable considering the outstanding quality of service. After having such a horrible experience with another cheap removalist, we deceided to move with a reputable company who although was more expensive, was definitely worth it!

Friendly and very professional experience, I really appreciated the help dismantling my bed and putting it back together again at the new house, they also connected my washing machine! Its the attention to detail and the care taken that was most impressive. As an elderly person little things like this made my day.the team were really helpful and clearly knew what they were doing which comes with lots of experience. I would highly recommend

I want to start by saying we called and explained this issue and our disappointment to the company, gave them a chance to rectify, but they chose not to do anything.

We were quoted $500 to move 25mins away to a ground level home. All items were boxed and ready to go in our 2 bedroom apartment for two adults, so not exactly a huge family move. We have had several moves in/out of apartments before, and NEVER before have I seen movers work so slowly. Maybe this had something to do with being paid for every extra 15mins on the job including the transit.

Not only were they late to arrive and dented the wall of our new home, the delay in the move was so grossly misquoted that we were then charged an additional $700 on the spot before they would leave.

We expressed our disappointment over the phone to the company, who provided no assistance or apology.

This company grossly misquoted us and took far longer than anticipated. If it wasn't for us getting in there ourselves, we would have been paying for an extra hour or two on top of the surprise $700.

In comparison to my past 11 moves, this was slow and overpriced. I felt like I was being taken for a ride. Moving from QLD to ACT was a third of the price we paid here. I was extremely surprised in the lack of assistance from the company at the end of the move.

I would not recommend.

An exceptional company. Vanessa is prompt to respond to all emails. The two employees came to my house ten minutes early to start work. They were very careful with all my belongings, very polite and hard working. The delivery in my new place was fantastic. They were happy to put furniture and boxes anywhere requested. And they always checked if anything else could be done. I was thoroughly impressed and will highly recommend them to anyone who is going to be moving house. Top notch company!

I move very often and by far this was my best experience.

This company were great. I had to reschedule the planned move of items from a deceased estate, due to an unexpected life event - they were completely understanding. When the day arrived for the move, the movers were on time, professional, efficient, careful and kind. The job was done with no dramas at all and I really appreciated their work, especially given the sensitive nature of the move. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I am so grateful to ACT Movers! I had to move in a rush and they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They reached out to me via email and even gave me advise and tips on prepping for my move. On the big day, they were prompt and professional, moving very quickly to remove my furniture. They even got to my new address before I did. When moving things into my new place, they worked just as fast and even helped set up the furniture for me. At all times, my furniture and appliances were handled with care and well protected. And, at all times, they were careful not to bump or make contact with any of the unit's walls. The two workers also took time out to befriend my son who was feeling sad about the move. Id recommend ACT Movers to anyone as they are professional, reliable and work with a lot of heart.

I was moving from Gungahlin to Franklin. The guy's arrived on time, were very quick and efficient, and kept the time down to a minimum without dragging the move out. They were also very careful with some very delicate belongings of mine to avoid getting damaged.

Would recommend and definitely use again. Not over priced and very affordable.

How can there be so many high reviews? These guys didn’t even finish our move! Just didn’t turn back up! No call. No phones being answered. Quick to email to ask how I want to pay for the job they didn’t finish! Had to do a crazy number of trips ourselves with cars and trailers to get the job done because we couldn’t hire a Hertz/Thrifty truck (already booked out at this time of year)! Stress levels through the roof! Don’t use them if you need reliability!
