A Bite To Eat

Popular little restaurant but not too noisy. Good food and coffee, excellent table service, reasonable cost, parking at door. Will certainly be going back.

Perpetually disappointing. I've tried very hard over the years to give A Bite to Eat another chance. For every good meal they serve, they'll give you two bad ones. The last straw was the chilli scrambled eggs. How do you mess up scrambled eggs? Difficult, but they managed to serve it undercooked, runny, oily, and flavourless. Quite a remarkable combination. The service staff generally are very good; shame they can't make up for the food.

Really great Coffee and Yummy Breakfast. Staff always helpful and friendly. And love the amount of Gluten Free options.

I had a Beef Burger, excellent taste and good eating but it fell apart a bit. The ladies had a lighter breakfast of toast which they said was good.

Hot chocolate tasted like hot water to be honest, unbelievable. Food is average and not worth the price. Weekends have a service fee too.

Eggs benedit with smoked salmon and mushroom and tea $31. Same thing down the road $22. You really need to fix your prices.

A Great place to catch up for a coffee, must book ahead as can be very busy. The food is good and friendly staff

It used to be better. There was this random, eclectic collection of furniture that made it feel a bit Boho and Melbourne alleyway-esque. It's all been replaced with standard cafe furniture and has lost its edge a little. However, service is friendly and the coffee is on point. Get the B&E roll, it's good!

Had a great day with my family, and grandies, great food, and they catered for anyone with gluten intolerance. Delicious.

As a meat eater that loves lots of flavour via yummy sauces, cheeses, seasoning while going light on the (healthy) vegetable and salad side, A Bite To Eat wasn't my cup of tea but I'm damn sure they're somebody else's. We ordered the chicken burger and stake sandwich (we were after some battered fish but only pickled salmon on the menu). In short A Bite To Eat is a vegetarians paradise and I'm sure perfectly suited to such tastes bit for the meat eater, expect to be out of your comfort zone. Juices were amazing, chips were fantastic, coffee was OK.

Fantastic staff. During peak Sunday morning, despite being seated in the far corner outside, my order was taken promptly, and as was the food served. Generous portions, lots of veggie options and coffee was very smooth.

Good friendly service with decent variety of meals and snacks. There are a few pastries, muffins and cakes available at the front counter. All day breakfast and lunch options, as well as a kids menu.

Live music at times.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at the rear. There are a few small tables at the front door also.

There is a park for the little ones across the carpark.
