74The Chicken dish was yummy. Not sure about the quantity for the price - could have been more.
The only time I've seen more oil was when the exon Valdez oil tanker run a ground. I had to use paper towel to reduce the pool of oil on top of my " butter chicken ". The nann bread was nice but the meal was a 3/10 or 1.5/5. Probably try elsewhere.
Incredible food and warm, friendly service, always a great experience eating or ordering from here!
Excellent food and service, always keep going there. My favorite is Goat, Tandoori, in saying that most foods We tried all very good. Consistent quality and service. Thanks. Raj
Been here twice recently, and the 2nd time was with a family group of 10 based on how much we enjoyed the food on the first visit. The atmosphere is a little sterile in this small setting however, thefood and service is fantastic. We had 10 different mains and all were good. Lots of choice for vegos. Great place.
Tried to charge more than the menu price. Picked up and questioned. They said menu was not updated
Terrible experience. Walked out of this place. We waited over 10 mins to order, the waitress kept saying you need to wait a minute in a mean tone. Never going back here
Ordered takeout from here last week and everything was beyond delicious! We have ordered from here before and it was always good, but somehow it has got better. We ordered the butter chicken, dal tadka, aloo gobi and naan - all were creamy, with the perfect spice level and not too salty
Today I tried chicken biryani and Tikka. The food was delicious, and ofc I'll try it again.
Loved it here, great authentic food and great service. Good portion sizes too, well priced.
We have order mater paneer and butter chicken. It was very delicious. I recommend if you are having Indian food this is the place.
Such a great feed last night. Really spicy and so flavourful. The staff were awesome. Definitely going back.
Great little restaurant with lovely people. Chicken 65 is awesome! Also liked the Palak Paneer curry.
Food is awesome. The chef and the other staff is very nice.love the hospitality. Also, there share a fair amount of their earnings with needy.
We decided to go out for dinner and went in search of what was around and we first stopped at 7 Villages to check the menu and the smell was just amazing but we kept walking to check out what else was there but we ended up back at 7 Villages and so glad we did. The food was amazingly good and the service was just as good. Very friendly and very polite. If I had to give a negative, it was the Tandoori chicken was a little dry but our son still really enjoyed it but the vindaloo I had and the Tandoori prawns my wife had were the best we’ve had and we’ve eaten at many curry restaurants, including a world famous Indian restaurant back home where the Indian cricketers eat when they come to Brisbane (we’re not from Canberra) but this was the best we’ve had.
Attentive, friendly service and outstanding rich flavours made for a wonderful dinner with friends. Will be back next time I'm in Canberra.
Good food, delivered on time. A nice selection to pick from, and met with our expectations very well.
A charming family run Indian with tasty and authentic dishes. This is my all time favorite restaurant in Canberra. The food is always fantastic and whatever I order I am always happy with my meal! Can't wait to go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone looking for a place to eat in Canberra
Worst experience. Ordered shahi paneer. But it was oily paneer. Naan was totally soggy and hard to eat. Even it was not very time still they disappoint me. Totally Waste of money.
We who are blessed to call Canberra home are spoiled for choice when it comes to dining. From the fresh markets to the gourmet restaurants to the seemingly endless supply of delivery services, almost any culinary whim can be satisfied instantly. It is in this cornucopia of quality that we sometimes overlook the dining experience as a whole. Good service and great tasting food is such a standard in the capital that we often take it for granted. I invite you then to take a moment and recognise the simple quality that comes from 7 Village Indian in dickson. An experience so good it makes you sit up and notice.
One of many curry houses that grace the inner north, it outwardly appears quite the same as any other, but this establishment takes the quality we’re so voraciously accustomed to and turns it up to 11. Not so much as a napkin out of place. Simply, no notes.
The server was smart, charismatic and wise - taking careful note of details that pointed to dietary requirements, gave advice on portion size and operated with the kind of professionalism one can only dream of seeing up on the hill. The food, prepared so freshly that you could smell the aromatics before it even arrived, had everyone talking of nothing else as the evening went on. As the rain pounded the pavement outside, enjoying traditional makhani and paneer with naans so fresh they were hot to touch was extremely relaxing. I could go on, and on… and on.
If you are a fan of the dining experience as a whole, then surely like me you will be returning to 7 Village with as much urgency as one's wallet and waistlines can muster.
